Aliceville High School (AHS) is located in Pickens County. The city of Aliceville is a rural community, and our school is one of three high schools in the county.

AHS students have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular programs which include band, cheerleading, FBLA, yearbook, peer helpers, student ambassadors, Student Government Association, National Beta Club, Upward Bound and HSTA. AHS also has numerous athletic programs which include varsity football, junior varsity football, varsity basketball (boys and girls), junior varsity basketball (boys), varsity track (boys and girls), junior varsity fastpitch softball, varsity fastpitch softball and varsity baseball.
Students across Pickens County have the opportunity to take classes at the Pickens County Career Center. AHS has students participating in various programs at the career center which include computer science, biomedical science, health science, industrial maintenance, welding and agricultural sciences. These classes present students with the opportunity to earn credentialing certificates, and in some cases, students may also earn college credits by taking advantage of dual enrollment opportunities offered through our local community college.
